President & CEO
David has spent his 25+ year career in product innovation and sales driven cultures. He began in sales at US Surgical, during the early days of the laparoscopic revolution, moving onto Stryker’s flagship Instruments Division, contributing to The Corporation’s unrivaled 20%+ EPS growth for 84 consecutive quarters. He went on to co-found Phluid, Inc. (now TNDM), co-found Natrix (acquired by Kyphon/MDT). David currently leads Incuvate, LLC, an organization focused on investing and developing solutions in Orthopedic, General Surgery, and Vascular segments. David grew up in Hawaii (Punahou School), received his BSEE from Stanford University and MBA at USC Marshall School of Business.
Vice President, Global Sales
Chris is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience in both multi-national and venture-backed organizations. Chris has held sales and marketing senior leadership positions with U.S. Surgical (now Covidien) as well as several medical device start-up companies: Microsurge (acquired by Richard Allan), Endonetics (acquired by Medtronic), Vascular Control Systems (acquired by J&J), Torax Medical (acquired by J&J), Solace Therapeutics, Venetec International (acquired by C.R. Bard) and SurgiQuest (acquired by ConMed). Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bucknell University.
Vice President, Engineering
Brad is a proven engineering leader with more than 23 years of startup medical device experience. He has held leadership positions at Ellipse Technologies (Acquired by Nuvasive), Interventional Spine (Acquired by Depuy Synthes), Endicor Medical (Acquired by EV3), Cardio Vascular Dynamics (Licensed technology to Guidant) and Vas-Cath (Acquired by C. R. Bard). Brad received a B.A.Sc. Degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from Cal State Fullerton. Has over 50 patents and authored several journal articles.
Vice President, Advanced Research
Hieu is a tenured R&D professional with more than 26 years of medical device experience including the VP of Engineering at Possis Medical. He is experienced in innovation, lean product development, program management, team management, disposable therapeutics and diagnostics, M&A and portfolio planning. He has participated in the growth of a start-up company’s revenue from $4 million to $90+ million. Hieu successfully executed successful exit strategies and integrations including Bayer Healthcare’s acquisition of Possis Medical, Bayer Healthcare’s acquisition of Pathway Medical (Seattle), and Boston Scientific’s acquisition of Bayer Healthcare – Interventional. Hieu is an inventor on 12 issued US patents and multiple OUS patents.
Eric has over 9 years of medical device manufacturing and new product development experience. Prior to Walk Vascular, Eric held roles of increasing responsibility at Medtronic including R&D Manager in the Neurovascular division leading the development and launch of devices used to treat ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. Eric earned his Bachelors and Masters in Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
